Size determines what a board does: a compact board is a gift, an XL board is a table centrepiece. Buying for a shop or restaurant therefore means choosing not one “nice board” but a set of sizes that complement each other. This is our range from small to large, with each size's strongest use.
Compact: 33 x 18 and 34 x 14 cm
The gift segment. The 33 x 18 cm fits through a letterbox — which is why it is also the standard size for engraved Christmas hampers and mail-order gifts. Compact enough for drinks for two, big enough for an engraving that stands out.
The mid-size: 38 x 20 and 47 to 49 x 17 cm
The all-rounder and the best seller in most shops. Room for cheese, sausage and something extra, yet it still fits in a kitchen drawer. If you want to test one size, start here.
XL: 69 x 19 cm
The eye-catcher. The 69 x 19 cm is a sharing board for the whole table and the size that hospitality orders most often: one board per table, shared dining without fuss. In a shop window or on a trade-fair table, this size draws the eye.
Round: Ø 30 and 35 cm
Round boards work differently from rectangular ones: everyone sits equally far away, so they belong in the middle of the table. A classic as a cheese board, and in a shop the shape that creates a second buying moment next to the rectangular line.
Narrow and long: tapas board 50 x 14 cm
The tapas board is made for narrow tables: on a bar, between two plates, or as a serving board for a row of appetisers. The size hospitality orders for the drinks menu.
With or without a juice groove?
Several sizes come in two versions. With a juice groove the board catches moisture and doubles as a serving and steak board. Without a groove you have the full surface — the choice of engravers and private label, because a logo never runs into an edge. In the shop you recognise the grooveless version by the -N suffix in the SKU.
Building a range: three sizes is enough
The structure that works in practice: one compact gift size, one mid-size as the best seller and one eye-catcher (XL or round).
